SFCC is putting together a time capsule to be opened in 2075!

Our goal is to leave our legacy to be opened by our church in 50 years, to show the future generation the foundation SFCC was built on over the past century. We will have a message about Legacy during the community service at the Sandborn Fall Festival.

We will place our items in the capsule on October 5th, and have the capsule buried in front of the church shortly afterwards.

What we currently plan on putting in the time capsule are:

• Photos (including a group photo in front of the church)

• A signed Bible with our favorite scriptures highlighted

• Letters written to ourselves and future generations

• A current atlas of the local geography

• Local ads and ministry pamphlets

• A Children's Ministry Bible signed by the kiddos

• A file containing the sermon preached at the Fall Festival​​​

Thank you to everyone who submitted suggestions for things to go into the capsule! We are working hard to ensure that the items will preserve over the 50 years buried underground.
